Janet Joyce Arzt is Chief Executive Officer of a family investment office in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she oversees investments and operations for the family and its businesses. Prior to joining the family office, Janet served as President of Mudrick Capital Management, a distressed debt hedge fund based in New York City, where she oversaw all non-investment functions and was also responsible for leading strategic initiatives. Janet joined Mudrick Capital in 2014 as Director of Business Development and Investor Relations. Prior to joining Mudrick Capital, Janet was a Vice President in the Client Advisory Group at York Capital Management from 2010 to 2014 where she was responsible for investor relations and business development. Janet received a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
