Shynelle joined AIRnyc as a summer intern in 2022 before moving into a full-time position. Previously, she worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Capsule Pharmacy. Currently, Shynelle attends Hunter College where she is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Public Health and will graduate in Fall 2023. Shynelle was inspired to become a Community Health Worker because of the scarcity of resources in low-income communities. She enjoys being an advocate and helping community residents access services and resources they need and deserve.
