Adolfo Moronta Peralta
Community Health Worker
Adolfo joined AIRnyc in July 2026 after previously working as a College Application and Essay Coach to help international students facilitate their college search. He was inspired to become a Community Health Worker (CHW) by his own experiences adjusting to life in the New York City after moving to the United States from the Dominican Republic with his family in 2010. He felt the impact of having a lack of community resources firsthand, while being unaware of the services that were available. As a CHW, Adolfo is passionate about helping others and enjoys the many connections he has made while working in such a diverse community. For people who need assistance, Adolfo strives to connect them with important resources to enhance their health and wellbeing. Making them aware of resources that are available is the most rewarding aspect of the job for Adolfo. Fluent in English and Spanish, Adolfo attended New York University where he majored in Media, Culture, and Communications. When he’s not working, he enjoys traveling and binge-watching old movies and television shows.
