Dahiana joined AIRnyc in July 2026. Previously, she worked as a research coordinator at Memorial Sloan Kettering’s Immigrant Health and Cancer Disparities Center. Dahiana worked on a study that focused on creating language solutions for patients with limited English proficiency. As a Community Health Worker, she strives to reduce social determinants of health that impact the wellbeing of marginalized populations in New York City. As a native New Yorker, Dahiana cherishes the opportunity to improve the health and living conditions of her fellow New Yorkers. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dahiana holds a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and Behavior and a master’s degree in Public Health from Columbia University. Outside of work, you can find her exploring new coffee shops or at a salsa social with friends!
