Jennifer joined AIRnyc in December 2025.  As a certified Community Health Worker (CHW) and caseworker specialist, Jennifer is a dedicated activist and advocate for the community, including New York City’s immigrant population. As a student in Rochester, New York, Jennifer studied language and is bilingual. She is passionate about translating essential information for Spanish-speaking New Yorkers in a language they understand. The ability to help provide resources to the community is what inspired Jennifer to become a CHW. Seeing a client smile when she provides her service is one of the most rewarding aspects of the job for Jennifer. Having previously worked as a home health aide, Jennifer has a history of helping others, and currently volunteers for a senior center in the Bronx in addition to working at AIRnyc.
